The Lexus IS, the smallest and most budget-friendly sedan from the Japanese automaker, has undergone a striking update for 2025. While retaining its Toyota Camry engine lineup, the refreshed model brings a sharper edge to the luxury sedan segment.
Lexus has unveiled its revamped rival to the BMW 3-Series and Mercedes C-Class, introducing a new F Sport Black IV variant to the lineup. This version features a bespoke styling package, including darkened chrome accents, black decorative elements, forged BBS wheels, and a refreshed interior design.
Buyers can select from a range of powertrains. The entry-level Lexus IS 300 comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, starting at $30,700. A 2.5-liter engine paired with a hybrid system-also found in the Toyota Camry-is another option. At the top of the range, the Lexus IS 500 boasts a commanding 5.0-liter V8 producing 475 horsepower.

With its blend of affordability, performance, and enhanced aesthetics, the 2025 Lexus IS solidifies its position as a compelling choice in the premium sedan market.
